...when sweat stinks...

In general there are two different types of sweat gland secretions. One of it is a relatively thin and odorless sweat, the other one, a kind of liquid sweat, is sharp stinking and generates a very unpleasant smell. The main cause of this odor formation is explained by the fact that this sweat is decomposed by bacteria on the skin surface, which produces degradation products, which give rise to individual odors.

As the excessive secretion of duty can therefore be the formation of odor on the health burden for those affected. It's not only the high quote of secret, the sweating can be a nuisance to other humans. In addition, the undesirable condition may also be joined by an intense sweat-odor formation, which dramatizes the painful situation of a person concerned only in addition.

Mostly the own "typical" smell can not be recognized by the sweater himself (if yes, only in a very slight way), but the others around him surely can.

As part of hyperhidrosis, this form represents another sub-group for all who are affected form strong sweating. The syndrome "bromhidrosis" (bromhidrosis translates to sth. like" stinking sweat ") impregnates every aspect of one´s life asuch as:

- social activities

The quality of life of those who suffer from this condition, decreases very rapidly.
